THE PRESENT PARTICIPLE – EL PRESENTE PARTICIPIO
The English ending -ing corresponds to the Spanish -ando, -iendo form.
How to form el PRESENTE PARTICIPIO
| 1 Take the verb in the infinitive form… | trabajar | comer | partir | ||||
| 2 Drop the infinitive ending… | trabaj- | com- | part- | ||||
| 3 Add the present progressive ending… | |||||||
| trabajando | comiendo | partiendo | |||||
