PERFECT SUBJUNCTIVE - EL PERFECTO DEL SUBJUNTIVO
FORM OF THE PERFECT SUBJUNCTIVE We form the Perfect Subjunctive tense by using the present subjunctive of the verb haber with the past participle:
USES OF THE PERFECT SUBJUNCTIVE The present perfect subjunctive is used in the same types of clauses as the present subjunctive, and normally is used: to indicate the action as completed with governing verbs in the present or future tense or command forms.
Examples:
Contrast between the Present Subjunctive and the Perfect Subjunctive.
We use the Present Subjunctive (a) when we generalize, (b) when we talk about the present and (c) when we talk about the future.
We use the Perfect Subjunctive when we talk about the past.
